About me:

I have been giving lessons in Dundee and the surrounding areas for some years now. I previously taught from premises and after some years experience I discovered most of my students prefered home tuition, although I can also teach from premises in Dundee. I have a modern approach to teaching music and try to make learning as fun as possible.

Recently I arranged a Concert involving a local Primary School and St. Leonards Choir along side my students raising over £1500 for Charity in donations.

Previous organist positions I've held were with Mid-Cragie Parish Church before moving on to St. Davids North.

Since then I have completed a 2 year Organ Bursary with the Church of Scotland and an HNC in Modern Musicianship with Composing and Arranging, Music Theory, Music Law and Legislation, Recording Techniques, Live Performance, Midi and Marketing for Music.

I am now the assistant organist of St. Andrews Cathedral Dundee and resident organist of:

• St. Leonards and St. Fergus
• St. Mary's Forebank
• St. Mary's Lochee

I am also an Organist for local Funeral Directors and an assistant organist to the Crematorium.

I cover all styles of playing from Classical to Pop. My favourite Classical composers are Bach, Chopin, Beethoven and Mozart, however I also enjoy teaching more modern music for example Stevie Wonder, Queen, and music from Shows e.g. Phantom of the Opera, Les Miseables etc.
